Villa Cera

The villa is surrounded by its own extensive grounds, and in a lovely position above the house is a private swimming pool. There is a large paved terrace for dining al fresco and plenty of space for relaxing in the gardens whilst enjoying the gorgeous panoramas.

This lovely country manor house, originally a summer retreat, dates back to the 18th Century. Now fully restored, its history is reflected in the beautiful furnishings which feature antique pieces and many collectors’ items. The villa is built into the sloping terraced ground so typical of this area so effectively has three levels. The main entrance, at ground level leads to a lovely entrance hall with sitting area complete with a huge original fireplace and settee to one side and door to a laundry room on the other.

The middle floor can be accessed by a stone staircase from the entrance hall or from the exterior via steps from the garden. This floor consists of a spacious living room with comfortable lounge area with settees (one of which can convert to a bed on request), fireplace and satellite television, separated by an archway from a dining area with table and chairs. There is a fully equipped eat in kitchen which opens out onto a lovely paved terrace overlooking the garden, perfect for meals al fresco. On the same floor is a double bedroom with writing desk and a shower room.

On the upper floor there are a further four lovely bedrooms each with their own ensuite shower room and all individually decorated and beautifully furnished in keeping with the rest of the villa. Needless to say all modern comforts have been discreetly added, including air conditioning in all rooms, Wi fi internet access, satellite television, Dvd player, stereo, safe, hairdryers in the bathrooms and fly screens at the windows.

The villa is surrounded its own extensive grounds with lawns, mature trees and flower beds. There plenty of quiet corners for relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity and beautiful views, and the large paved terrace adjacent to the villa is perfect for dining al fresco.

Villa Cerere has of course it’s own private swimming pool in a wonderful position above the house, framed by olive groves and enjoying a lovely panorama of the countryside. As well as being the perfect choice for a larger party, Villa Cerere is a lovely location too for special occasions from family reunions to small weddings. There is even a tiny chapel in the grounds and a whole manner of extra services and catering can be arranged on request.

The villa and gardens are completely enclosed and there is parking within the grounds. Although situated in the heart of the countryside Villa Cerere is only 7.5 km from Montecatini Terme, a pretty spa town with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and selection of shops and restaurants. The beautiful Tuscan cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa can be easily reached via nearby road and rail links, and a visit to Siena, San Gimignano or the Versilia coast are lovely day trips out. 200kw of electricity included.
