Villa Fiorentine

Villa Fiorentine is on two main levels plus the medieval tower. The interiors are spacious and beautifully furnished with antiques and family heirlooms. From the garden, you enter directly into a little entrance lounge with settee and writing desk. After the entrance, on the left, is a fully equipped kitchen furnished in Tuscan style.

From the entrance you enter into the main dining room with a beautiful Renaissance fireplace, large table, chairs and beamed ceiling. Originally the ballroom of the ancient Castle, the dining room communicates with a comfortably furnished sitting room with fireplace, settee and armchairs.

On the same floor is another inviting living / reading room with fireplace, settees, armchairs and satellite television, which opens out onto the garden. Also on the ground floor, after the main entrance, on the right, is a dining room with table and chairs and another sitting room which opens outside onto the garden.

A staircase of 26 steps leads up to the first floor where there are three beautiful bedrooms elegantly decorated, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and sitting area with settee, armchairs and fireplace, another double bedroom with writing desk and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower which opens onto a small balcony, a twin bedroom (which can be turned into double bedroom on request) with in-room sink and a bathroom with bath/shower. The twin bedroom can be turned into a suite with ensuite bathroom by closing the door which opens onto the corridor.

So as to leave the wonderful characteristics and original architecture of this beautiful Villa intact, the second floor and the six bedrooms are spread over various wings and levels. A staircase of 18 steps leads up to the second floor where there is another sitting area with stove. From the sitting area you enter directly into a double bedroom with four poster bed, fireplace and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower. This beautiful bedroom enjoys pretty views of the Tuscan hills.

A small staircase of 9 steps leads up to the tower where there is another sitting room with fireplace. From the sitting room, going up 23 wooden steps more, there is a double bedroom with air conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower. Next to the sitting area there is another twin bedroom (which can be turned into double bedroom on request) with air conditioning and bathroom with bath/shower.

Also on the second floor, there is another sitting room with fireplace which opens onto the covered loggia which overlooks the garden. Going up 5 steps, there are two double bedrooms (both of which can convert to twins on request) with fireplace. These two bedrooms share a separate bathroom. Also on this floor, in front of the sitting room, is a further charming double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, where Lyz Taylor stayed in the ’60.

The outdoor areas of the villa are well maintained and offer lawns and areas for relaxing. In a secluded position, next to the French garden, there is a beautiful infinity pool (11m x 12m) with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool is equipped with sun beds and outdoor showers and there is also a gazebo with table, chairs and settees, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area.
