Florence with its gorgeous Renaissance architecture and many art treasures is within easy driving distance and can be easily reached by dual carriageway or by meandering through the beautiful countryside via the Chianti wine route. Villa Raffaela is a great base for exploring the area, relaxing and tasting the local food and wine.
